About the Speakers:
Ina Daly, America's Road Team Captain, Professional Truck Driver, XPO, Inc.
Ina Daly has been a professional truck driver for over 41 years and has accumulated over 4 million accident-free miles. She drives for XPO, Inc. and has been with them for over 40 years.
Ina received the XPO President’s Award twice, and in 2014 received the XPO CEO Constellation Award, the highest award in the organization. In 2005, Ina was named Driver of the Year by the Arizona Trucking Association. In 2023, Ina won the National Truck Driving Championship’s Neill Darmstadter Professional Excellence Award and the Arizona Trucking Association’s Pioneer Award.
Ina has competed in the Arizona State Truck Driving Championship 30 times, and the National Truck Driving Championship 17 times, competing in four different classes. In 2019, she received second at the National Truck Driving Championships in five-axle along with the written test award. She has won the National State Team Championships and in 2013 became the first woman to win a national TDC class as the National Champion in the Tank Class. She won the Arizona Truck Driving Championship Rookie of the Year Award and is a three-time Arizona Grand Champion. In 2022 and 2024, she was a finalist in the National Truck Driving Championship in the tank truck and flatbed classes.
Rhonda Hartman, America's Road Team Captain, Professional Truck Driver, Old Dominion Freight Line
Rhonda Hartman has been a professional truck driver for over 41 years and has accumulated more than 3.1 million accident-free miles. She is a professional truck driver for Old Dominion Freight Line. Rhonda began her career as an owner-operator starting in 1983. She ran 48 states, Canada, and Mexico.
Rhonda received Old Dominion’s 10-Year Safe Driving Award. She was recognized for 10 years of safe driving with her previous employer, Walmart Transportation. In 2020, Rhonda won the American Trucking Association’s Mike Russell Award. In 2023, she was named one of IRU’s New Industry Shapers.
Rhonda has participated in the Iowa State Truck Driving Championships for eight years placing three times in both second place and third place.
Rhonda is a member of the Iowa Road Team.
Rhonda’s favorite thing to do since making America’s Road Team is educating young drivers on how to be safe around trucks, attending career days, and educating the public on what a great industry trucking is.
Rhonda lives in Iowa and has 5 children and 10 grandchildren.
Emily Plummer, America's Road Team Captain, Professional Truck Driver, Prime Inc.
Emily Plummer has been a professional truck driver for 24 years and has accumulated over 3.5 million safe driving miles. She is an over-the-road driver for Prime Inc.
Emily received Prime Inc.’s 2022 Highway Diamond of the Year award. She won Prime Inc.’s One-, Two-, and Three-Million Mile Award. Emily was named the Truckload Carriers Association’s 2023 Professional Driver of the Year.
Emily served on Prime Inc.’s Driver Advisory Board for three years. She was selected to serve as a member and continues to serve on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Women in Trucking Advisory Board.
Emily resides in Springfield, Missouri with her husband, Gary.
Dee Sova, America's Road Team Captain, Professional Truck Driver, Prime Inc.
Dee Sova is a professional truck driver for Prime Inc. and has been a professional truck driver for over 33 years. She has accumulated over three million accident-free miles. In 2017, Dee received Prime Inc.’s Highway Diamond of the Year Award and was a Real Women in Trucking “Queen of the Road” finalist. She was a member of Prime Inc.’s Driver Advisory Board in 2018 and is currently a member of Prime Inc.’s Highway Diamond’s program.
She is a CDL Classroom Instructor in Prime Inc.’s Training Program. She serves as Prime Inc.’s Highway Diamond Coordinator. Dee is the founder of Trucking Divas Rock. Her mission is to motivate women in the trucking industry. She was a member of Mothers against Drunk Driving (MADD) from 2004-2014.
During her time at MADD, Dee held several leadership roles ranging from Secretary to President. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she was featured on CNN, NBC Nightly News, and the Tamron Hall Show. Dee lives in Springfield, Missouri. She has three daughters, a son, eleven grandchildren, and one great-grand daughter.
